When I was a Unification Church member from 1976 to 1986, I often heard other church members express the wish that "Father" could become President, or (since that would be unconstitutional) that someone totally under Moon's control would become President. However, Moon's Divine Principle disparages democracy, for example in its interpretation of the Old Testament kingdoms of Saul, David and Solomon. While the Book of Samuel clearly shows that God is displeased with the Israelites for demanding a king, the Divine Principle insists that the establishment of a monarchy was God's will since if the Messiah could be born into a kingdom and then convert the king to his teachings, the entire nation would obey the Messiah. Moon, therefore, actually prefers kings to presidents, and probably would rather be King of America rather than merely the President. Incredibly, Moon's followers believe that on a "spiritual" or "internal" level, that is what he actually became as a result of the 2004 coronation at the Dirksen building in Washington, D.C., when senators and congressmen watched while he was "crowned". What a slap in the face to George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and others, who advocated the abolition of monarchy. And now Moon claims that in spirit world, Washington and other former presidents all now praise Moon! What gall!

Most of the facts/videos I knew already from other sources (e.g. you :-)), but the whole video is a good professional presentation!

Thanks, guys. I just wanted to say that I've put up an improved final cut at TheKingOfAmerica.com.
